PXC 28 last Saturday

Caught PXC 28 yesterday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig and I must say that it was awesome. Most of the fights were finishes and were finished in the first round. And the Main Event between Tristan Arenal and John Tuck did not disappoint.

The event had great production from nicely placed titan-trons, and the cage set-up was good. It had a multitude of MMA fans ranging from hardcore to casual fans and I saw a couple Filipino actors and actresses and PBA players as well. There was free beer, FHM ring girls and an appearance by Brandon "the Truth" Vera.

Over all the event was great, I can tell that both hardcore and casual fans had a good time. There was even a photo-booth outside the event, which was quite fun (still thinking if I'm gonna share my picture). I'm really glad how MMA in the Philippines has come along and how events like this cannot only entertain but also educate more about the sport.

Great job PXC, and as a guy from Baguio, just wanna give out a shout out to Team Lakay who had a very good showing at the event.
